It was just a few days ago that I watched Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. Although I’m a few decades older than the four girls in the movie, the theme of great girlfriends and traveling and the perfect pair of jeans got me interested.
My favorite friendships are those that have stood the test of time, like Tibby, Lena, Carmen and Bridget. The right mix of girlfriends coax us just the way we like it into making exciting decisions. I enjoyed how they kept in touch with each other. My, those traveling pants really had stories to tell!
As for the destinations in the movie, I particularly liked the scenes in Greece. The colors might have been slightly enhanced just like in Mamma Mia to make them more dream like. Sigh, I’ve only helped people with their vacations to Greece but never got to visit… yet. Hopefully one day, I get to go with my sisters or girlfriends!
The perfect pair of jeans is like a sister or a good friend. They’ll hug you in the right places. Thanks to Lyndsay Cabildo, I’m reposting a video she featured in one of her posts. I always bring along a pair of jeans since they’re easy to match with almost anything, can go from casual to chic with a smart change of accessories and can go without washing for an entire month — heehee.
