With the British pound almost the same rate as the euro, visiting London suddenly becomes affordable! Spring is just around the corner and there are lots of last-minute flights to this wonderful city!
Have a riot at Hamleys! (pssst, don't forget to bring the kids!)
Most stores are all set for spring – Regent Street is all decked with the yummy spring pastel shades of green, blue, popsicle orange, and pale yellow. Hamleys celebrates “Cartoon Crazy” with well-loved animated characters — fantastic competitions, wonderful promotions and of course, meeting the characters in the flesh, so to speak. That’s going to be a lot of fun! Everytime I visit London, I drop by to check out the newest games and to just play with the toys.
Not far from Hamleys is Liberty, known for its high quality fabrics and fashion choices. If you’ve got that itch to learn how to sew, there’s the Liberty Sewing School! Sewing used to be a boring hobby until recently. Now sewing is a status symbol! Attend a beginner’s class at Liberty and be the envy of your friends back home!
