I try to send tweets out often but end up only sending tweets once in a while. Thus, my admiration for Benji Lanyado and his TwiTrips! I don’t write for the Guardian and 4 out of my 6 fans on my Facebook page are 4 of my sisters (still waiting for my two other sisters to be fans). I’ll have to improve my tweeting to be able to get lots of tips like dear Benji did.
These days, mobile phones aren’t just for emergencies anymore.
It connects us to more than our immediate family members and business contacts. There are our Facebook friends who will cheer us on to even our smallest of achievements and there’s Twitter where we update our moves and thoughts of the day. Now, Twitter happens to be one of the coolest travel tools!
Hmmm, some of my travel agent friends might not like this. Commissions are not what they used to be and now here comes twitter travel on-the-spot recommendations! But then again, it’s all about friendly advise from your tweeps. Pretty exciting! Imagine, all the shopping, hot restaurants and spa tips you can get from women around the world!
So, include twitter on your next trip!
