See the medieval Stare Miasto (Old Quarter) with its market square and 14th-century Cathedral of St. John, the “wedding cake” Palace of Culture and Science, neoclassical Lazieniki Palace, and the remnants of the Jewish ghetto. In the HISTORICAL MUSEUM a moving film shows the city before and after wartime destruction. Afternoon free at leisure.

The mine has been visited from its beginning by the famous and the mighty of this world. Kopernik, Goethe, Humboldt, Paderewski, Mendelejew, Baden Powell, Karol Wojtyla – who later became Pope John Paul II, ordinary people and crowned heads of state, all have visited this remarkable site. Hi Mica how are you na. We arrived safely yesterday. My friend Divina lost her painting. The one the same as yours but w/ swarovsky crystals. She’s crying in her heart na nga. We are planning a dinner or something sometime, sana nandito ka para mas masaya. The drinking buddies! This was one of my happiest trip because of the company, very meaningful because of the concentration camp and the churches. Most unforgetable because of the tour guide who did everything she can for her wards’ sake. Thank you Mica for your efforts and support. May God Bless you always. Take care. Hope to see you again. Bye.
Hi Lily! Where did Divine lose The Kiss? I feel her pain! I can ask a friend to get another one for her, if she wants, then I bring it with me when I go to Manila. Pls ask her. I miss all of you!
