I’ve always dressed in layers since the temperatures in Europe are much cooler than they are in Manila. I’ve even forgot what it felt like to wear a sundress.

Well, when I had to wear a dress for a special event, I was shocked to see my arms and legs. Who is this woman before me??? No amount of disguise could hide the excess 7 kilos I gained. Seven kilos (not seven pounds) – that’s about equal to 6 medium-sized dressed chickens. My upper thighs and calves looked like a couple of elephants’ trunks!

I vowed that when I fly back to the Netherlands, I’ll do a few things to remove those 6 chickens. Well, I’ve recently changed my eating habits. My heaviest meal used to be dinner but now I’ve made that lunch. For dinner, it’s just mostly vegetables and fruit.

I’m sure it’s the same way for most women who are getting ready to spend some time in the tropics for the holiday. The bikinis have been chosen, the accessories tried and matched. If only the body cooperated. Well, no worries. Try out the 6 minute bikini body moves. My sister, Pinky, blogged about it here.

Remember to warm up before any exercise. I learned my lesson when I was dancing to “In the Closet”. In the process, I pinched a nerve! It takes two to three months for a nerve to completely recover. Learn from my mistake – warm up!

This won’t work if you start the 6 minute bikini body a day before you start your trip.
